How charter arrangement works

We are a charter broker, not an aircraft operator. When you ask us to arrange a private jet charter Scottsdale trip, we act as your agent to identify and engage an FAA Part 135 certificated operator that holds operational control of the flight. That operator, not us, is responsible for the aircraft, crew, and conduct of the flight.

We do not own or operate aircraft. The operator's certificate and safety record govern the flight, and we can share that information with you before you commit.

Scottsdale flight quotes and estimates

Prices we provide are estimates based on the information available at the time, including aircraft category, routing, and anticipated fees. They are not binding until the operator confirms availability and issues a final quote. Fuel surcharges, crew duty limits, and airport fees can change the number.

For example, a light jet from Los Angeles to Scottsdale might be estimated between $4,500 and $6,500, but the operator's confirmation is the number that matters. We will always show you the basis for the estimate.

Payment and cancellation terms

When you accept a quote, you enter into a charter agreement with the operator. Payment terms, cancellation policies, and refund conditions are set by that operator and are typically stricter than airline tickets. Many operators require payment in full before departure and impose cancellation fees that increase as the flight date approaches.

We will provide the operator's contract terms before you pay. Once you sign, the operator's cancellation policy applies, and we cannot override it.

Taxes, fees, and additional charges

Charter flights are subject to federal excise tax and segment fees, which are passed through by the operator. Some airports also charge landing, parking, or handling fees, and these may be included in the quote or billed separately. International flights may incur customs and immigration fees.

Your final invoice will itemize these charges. We do not mark up taxes or fees.

Operational control and your safety

The operator has operational control, which means its pilots and dispatchers make all decisions about the flight, including whether to fly in certain weather or at high-density-altitude airports like Scottsdale during summer. On a hot day, density altitude at Scottsdale Airport can reach 5,500 feet, and the operator may adjust payload or departure time for safety.

We can help you understand these trade-offs, but the operator's judgment is final. We verify that each operator holds a current FAA Part 135 certificate and meets insurance requirements before we engage them.

Limitation of liability

Our role is limited to arranging the charter. We are not liable for the operator's acts or omissions, including delays, diversions, or cancellations. Any claims related to the flight must be directed to the operator under its contract and insurance.

By using our service, you agree that our liability is limited to the fee we receive for arranging the charter, and you hold us harmless from claims arising from the operator's conduct. This does not affect any rights you may have against the operator.
